This is just a quick run through of some products I've used since my hiatus. There are pros, cons, costs, and just the stuff you really want to know.

Marshmallow Fluff Whipped Soap

Pros: When wet and using it, it smells great! Like Marshmallows!
-It's supper soft and ways like 2 oz but it's really 4.5 ozs...cool texture
-Could work great for kids

Cons: Smells bad when not in use and makes the shower smell funky too
-Doesn't really smell great on your skin when you leave the shower
- Just an OK clean feeling after use
- Don't use on your face... it stings crazy bad in the eyes and just is not meant for your face

Overall: Only for a little kid

Pros: I loved this body whip. I wish I would have purchased a bigger container. I went through it so fast. Another great use for it, aside from body butter, using it on your feet when wearing high heels that are tight or give you blisters. It moisturizes and lubricates your feet so you don't get blisters or discomfort.

Cons: Needs to come in a bigger size

- Poor shelf life... two months in and it started to get lumpy

Back and talking Body Scrubs.

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who expressed concern for the past several months I have been MIA. It's the summer and I am going to be back to the swing of things and have a lot of catching up to do, so expect a few reviews per post!

And let's begin!!!

This winter was not unlike any other Buffalo winter, but my skin was super dry so I was looking into more skin products (sorry lip balmers). This scrub seemed very practical, well priced, and easy to store in the shower.

The fragrance of this is fresh and crisp. I am a big fan of the Spa Fusion scent from GudonyaToo. It's not over powering so I never worried about it poorly mixing with lotion or perfume. It definitely exfoliates... if you don't have enough water on your body before you start to scrub it can hurt a little.

This bar lasted about 2 months. I used it roughly once a day. My only problem with the bar is the fact you have to keep it dry. This means you have to get your body wet, scrub, then rinse, without letting any water that is not already on your body get to the bar. Towards the the end of my last month of use, water did get on it. It began to crumble quickly. If this bar was able to be a scrub and a soap and endure water, I think this would be a perfect body scrub, especially with the bars circular shape. It was so perfect, and easy to use and fit into my hands perfectly.

Overall, this is a solid body scrub bar. It is not super moisturizing, so I would recommend using it with a body wash or body conditioner.

This was 8 oz of sheer greatness. The smell is girly. It is sweet, floral, yet has strong subtle hints of vanilla. A little goes a long way with this body polish, it lasted about 3 months with daily use. It exfoliates and does polish your skin. When I got out of the shower, it felt like my skin was glowing without any harsh rubbing, it was gentle and like a mini massage.

My only complaint against this body polish is that I wish it had a bigger opening at the top. When I got down to the very last bit, it was hard to get into.

Overall, I hope this body polish returns to her shop because I was very impressed and strongly recommend this scent.

I have never used a foot scrub before. My Beauty Queen Mother told me it was the next best thing to a pedicure... mind you my idea of that is a nice barefoot walk on a beach. Nonetheless, she was actually amazed that this foot scrub was handmade and not sold by a larger marketing company like Philosophy or one of those other overprices Sephora brands.

It smells glorious. It is an intoxicating aroma of rosemary which really picks you up and the lavender is in the undertones which also calms you down. It is a wonderful combination of scents. And as you bend over to apply it and massage your feet, the scent really is just wonderful. It is very relaxing yet it is uplifting. It really embodies the ambiance of the spa in your own home.

The texture is thick and coarse, but not so much that it can scratch and hurt you. As you rub it on the texture breaks down finer and finer is lightly tickles your skin. A little goes a long way with this scrub. I used roughly a nickle sized amount for each foot. This covered the top, bottom, to the joint in my ankle and everywhere and in between on my toes.

It really does scrub away dead skin. When I finished my right foot, I felt the left for a comparison and there was a drastic difference in smoothness. It was very noticeable. I massaged my feet for about ten minutes per foot. I do not know if this is excessive, but the results were well worth it!

The only negative about this scrub is that the scent fades very fast. I thought, like soap sometimes does, the scent would linger on my feet, however it didn't. And if it were there, it was far to faint for me to notice.

Overall, for my first foot scrub and judging by the way my feet feel after a pedicure, I think $5 is a great investment. This doesn't take much time, the results are awesome, and if you do this two or three times a week with a practical amount, that 2 oz. container may last you a month or more! I know my little sample jar is on it's third use and still has a little less than half left.
