This is the lightest lip balm I have ever experienced in my entire lip balm loving life. It's like putting a soft coat of air on your lips. This lip balm is just so refreshing. It's not greasy, waxy, I can't really describe the feeling of it....it's just so light...silk gliding on your lips lightly? Maybe that's it. Either way, this balm feels absolutely fabulous.
It wears for a solid chunk of time. Two to three hours by my watch. Not spectacular but proving that you don't need chemicals to make a balm last.
Here is the break down for flavors/scents.... I ordered a lot of three but got a little bonus balm.
Cucumber melon- It smells more melony than it does a cool refreshing cucumber. When you put it on you can then sense the hint of cucumber. It's not over powering. The scent and flavor is rather weak.
Juicy Pear- This smells dismal. I've decided to use it as my "cold lip balm." (The lip balm you use when you're sick....cuz you don't wanna use your good stuff and harbor germs) The flavor is a little better. It does taste like sparkling pear juice.
Groovy Grape- This doesn't smell terrible but it doesn't smell like grape. It has a sweet smell, but I can't identify it as grape. When you put it on...it's not that groovy. It's a very weak semblance of grape.
Island Delight- This was my little bonus. And I am so thankful. This was a saving grace out of this bunch. This smells fantastic. It's nice and fruity. It even reflects that in the taste. By far the best smelling and tasting in this batch
All of them smell sweet, but aside from that, Island Delight is the only one that stands out. And it's a shame because this is some solid lip balm, it's got a fantastic feel and wears well, but the flavor and scent just kills it.
If you don't mind a weak scent and taste, this is the balm for you. It is really nourishing for your lips, just terribly bland.
Overall...this is not something I use a lot. When I'm sick and my lips are crying...it's perfect. But I avoid being sick...so....this balm may get a bit dusty.
