I had heard a lot of hype about these 99%+ organic 100% natural lip balms from PETA and an add in Vogue (I think it was Vogue...or Cosmo.) They seem like a thing you'd find in a New England boutique. Yes...very posh and possibly WASPish? Nonetheless, I was very excited.

First, yes, let's address the major drawback of these balms. The seemingly exorbitant price tag may be a detourant but there is a great quality with this product.

These balms go one nice and smooth. You can tell that they are more beeswax than oil based, yet it does not have a waxy feel. These wear for a solid amount of time. They absorb slowly but it is so luxurious on your lips.

Let's break it down by flavor...

Chai Mandarin: I am not a fan of chai...at all, yet this balm is very calming. It smells like a nice Spot Chai...so yummy. It tastes like chai too....which is great if you love the flavor. I find it a plus because I'm not licking my lips.

Peppermint: Very pepperminty. It makes your lips tingle and helps clear the sinuses. It is very crisp and refreshing in scent and flavor.

Lavender Vanilla: The bestest flavor in this trio. It is relaxing, sweet, and heaven in a lip balm. I am a big fan of lavender as a calming oil....I've been using it to help me drift off to sleep at night. The vanilla is a little hard to find in this blend but I don't really care...the lavender is awesome.

Overall, these balms are the bomb (oh snap I didn't.) They are a very luxuries treat for the lips. Especially since they are almost 100% organic and are completely natural. They are not Vegan....but hey.... PETA supports them. Yet, the price is a bit much for the little that you get.
