This balm is a nice sophisticated tin and when you uncap it, sheer Arabica harmony.
It is a light looking, warm taupe. On your lips its a neutral sheer with a slight shimmer of gloss. It goes on smoothly, a little slick, but not greasy. It absorbs nicely and your lips feel naturally moistened. It is a great feeling.
In the heat this balm is a bit soft. I recommend leaving it out of the sun or maybe in the fridge. I'm becoming a fan of saving lip balm in the fridge. I bet it makes it last longer too.
This balm has an average longevity. The gloss and "wet" feeling goes away in about an hour, but you can feel the lasting affects for about another two hours. It does not last past eating or drinking.

Overall, I'm so glad USPS didn't lose this lip balm again!!! It is splendid. Not the best balm to keep in your pocket in this summer heat but essential for your purse for almost any occasion involving temps below 89 degrees.
