I was recently informed that Eco Lips was greatly affected by the flooding in the Mid West. Thank God they were able to prepare and move a large amount of their products so they are not at a total loss, but they need your help. They are not asking for donations or anything, just to help sell the products they saved. See the message below from their Myspace....

Cedar Rapids, Iowa based Eco Lips Organic Lip Balm was located in the heart of the flood which plundered the Midwest. The water current of the Cedar River was literally running through the company headquarters which contained its sales, production and fulfillment.


Thankfully, before the mandatory evacuation in the days preceding the flood the employees worked diligently to move much of the product and manufacturing equipment to dry land.


However, Eco Lips experienced a substantial business interruption during this time in addition to losing the remaining items in the building. The good news is Eco Lips is up and running in a new space and striving to make up for its losses. "When the dust settles from this disaster, our company and our city will be stronger for it!" said Steve Shriver, Founder of Eco Lips.
