Elihlizio (Chocolate Espresso) Soap
Via Etsy
$8.50 (+ $4.95 S&H)
[Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, possibly a Butter, Essential or Fragrance Oil and perhaps, some grains]
I received this bar of soap when I got the Nahia Mango Lip Balm. I've been using it for a while, on and off, and I figured it is about time to discuss this bar.
First, it smells heavenly, if you love espresso. It is like a cocomoco from Spot Coffee... nice and warm with the espresso but a little bitter sweet with the subtle chocolateness.
It quickly soaps up with either hot or cold water, however the lather is minimal. It rinses well and does leave your skin feeling fresh and clean, without any tightness or that dry clean sensation. Yet my skin does not feel moisturized. With the espresso, cocoa butter, and other goodness in here, I would assume that my skin would feel more lush. It is clean but that is about it.
Another disappointing quality of this soap is that it's great scent doesn't transfer to your skin. You may not want to smell like a cocomoco but I sure as heck do! What is the point of yummy smelling soap is not a little of it rubs off onto you?
I won't get started on the price either...
Overall, this is an average soap. It's quality does not back up the price tag of over $10 once you include shipping and handling. I should have kept it in my underwear drawer to make my undies smell yummy.
