"Would you like a condom? It's Boysenberry."
"No thanks, I'm off sex."
"My boyfriend and I use one every time we have intercourse. They make his junk smell like pie."

I love the movie Juno. In it, this crazy girl who looks like Ellie from Degrassi is trying to get Juno to take said boysenberry condom. When I saw this on Etsy I was like "YOINK! PIE BALLS!" (If you've seen the movie...you understand the pie balls.)

For those of you who haven't seen it and will be going out to see or rent it right after you read this.... the translation would be... I'm so excited for this sweet goodness.

I've never heard of a Kukui nut... according to canoeplants.com.... it is an ancient Hawaiian tree that stands for enlightenment, protection and peace. The nut oil is suppose to be one of the most potent for nourishing the skin. It also can be used as excellent and efficient lighter fluid. Good to know. It also can be used as a mild sunburn treatment....which I wanna try out come this summer.

This balm smells amazing. I have no idea what a boysenberry smells like...but this stuff smells great. When you put it on, it's not so great. It does not have a flavor. The page advertises the balm as "sweet and tangy" but that's just the smell. So I was a little let down when I could not experience the tasting of....pie balls.

It glides on nicely and it even makes your lips tingle a little bit later, which I hope is a good thing. It does leave my lips feeling amazing. Tasteless...but amazing. And this stuff wears for a while. I wore it all day yesterday and aside form the initial applications where I just wanted more flavor and was unfulfilled, I put it on maybe 4 times max. This balm is durable too. It didn't melt or get soft in my pocket, nor did it get hard when I was out walking in the frigid air for an hour.

Overall, this balm could be sweeter and tastier. I was really let down by the fact it was not as flavorful as I would have thought. Yet the upside is, this stuff is possibly the most refreshing lip balm I've come across on Etsy and it's organic and not a gloss. This Kukui nut oil may be the secret ingredient for a great, long lasting, and nourishing lip balm.
